CORMAK 330 x 700 230V universal lathe is a precision conventional lathe designed for machining steel, non-ferrous metals and engineering plastics. The version supplied with a heavy-duty stand and a set of seven 16 × 16mm indexable turning tools forms a complete workstation ready for immediate production. The reliable 1.1kW/230V induction motor, 12-speed gearbox and 160mm-wide bed provide constant torque, high stability and repeatable accuracy across hundreds of workpieces.

Construction and technology

The lathe body is cast from high-density cast iron for stable vibration damping, while double-row P5-class angular-contact spindle bearings ensure runout of ≤0.015mm. The ergonomic control panel allows quick selection of spindle speed and feed, while hardened gearbox gears provide quiet operation and long service life. The set also includes a steel stand with a tool cabinet, eliminating the need to build a separate workstation.

Precision and operating efficiency

Automatic longitudinal feeds of 0.105–1.396mm/rev. and cross feeds of 0.022–0.296mm/rev. accelerate machining processes without compromising surface quality. Vernier scales of 0.1/0.5mm allow settings to tenths of a millimetre, while the wide spindle speed range supports both high-speed finishing and rough turning of tool steels.
