CORMAK trailer support stands are designed to provide additional support for semi-trailers during loading, unloading and maintenance operations. The adjustable height allows the support point to be positioned to suit the trailer structure, while transport wheels make it easier to move the stand into place. The range includes the PN40A with a round support plate and the PN40Y with a wide upper support beam, allowing you to select a design suited to the intended contact point. These practical accessories are suitable for transport companies, warehouses and logistics centres. Explore the available support stands and compare their key features before purchasing.

Trailer support stands are used wherever an additional support point is required for a semi-trailer during loading, unloading or maintenance operations. They form part of the equipment used at loading bays in warehouses, distribution centres and transport companies.
Unlike the factory-fitted landing legs installed on semi-trailers, additional CORMAK support stands can be moved and positioned in a suitable location. This allows the loading area to be adapted to the work being carried out and the design of the trailer being handled.
The CORMAK range includes the PN40A and PN40Y support stands, which differ mainly in the design of their upper support points and bases. Both models feature adjustable height and transport wheels.
A correctly selected support stand provides an additional piece of equipment for a loading bay. Its design determines how it is positioned, adjusted for height and brought into contact with the supported structure.
Key benefits include:
Height adjustment – allows the upper support point to be positioned at the height of a suitable structural component of the trailer.
Two upper support designs – the plate on the PN40A and the beam on the PN40Y allow you to select a suitable solution for the intended contact with the trailer.
Transport wheels – make it easier to move and position the stands around the loading area.
Different base shapes – allow the stand design to be selected according to the positioning requirements and ground conditions.
Load capacity ratings – a lifting capacity of 15 tonnes and a static load capacity of up to 40 tonnes for both models allow the anticipated loading requirements to be assessed, while keeping these two ratings distinct.
This equipment is particularly useful for companies handling semi-trailers at designated loading and unloading bays.
Additional trailer support stands are used in loading areas where proper preparation of facilities for handling heavy goods vehicles is important.
In warehouses and distribution centres, the ability to move a support stand makes it easier to position it at the designated trailer support point. Height adjustment allows the upper component to be aligned with the appropriate point on the structure.
For transport companies, these stands can serve as auxiliary equipment during maintenance, loading and unloading operations. Selection should take into account the trailer design, anticipated loads and conditions at the loading bay.
Several key specifications should be considered when selecting a support stand.
Lifting capacity and static load capacity describe different load-bearing characteristics. Both the PN40A and PN40Y have a lifting capacity of 15 tonnes and a static load capacity of up to 40 tonnes. These ratings should not be used interchangeably.
Height adjustment range should match the position of the required support point. Both CORMAK stands offer adjustment from 1003 to 1295 mm.
Upper support type is one of the main design differences. The PN40A has a round plate with a diameter of 200 mm, while the PN40Y features a beam measuring 610 × 162 mm. The choice depends on the appropriate contact point on the trailer structure.
Base design is also important. The PN40A has a round base measuring 350 mm in diameter, while the PN40Y has a triangular base with a width of 490 mm. The evenness and load-bearing capacity of the ground should be considered when selecting a stand.
The CORMAK range includes two support stands with different designs. The PN40A features a round support plate, while the PN40Y has a wide upper support beam. Both offer height adjustment and can be moved using their transport wheels.
Compare the CORMAK PN40A and PN40Y support stands, paying particular attention to the upper support design, height range and loading bay conditions. Choose the design that best suits your intended application.
