ZX40BPC Construction – Stability, Oil-Lubricated Gearbox and Precision Spindle Guidance

The machine body and column are designed to maintain high rigidity during drilling and milling operations. The smoothly ground column surface facilitates accurate positioning of the working assembly, while the heavy-duty base measuring 690 × 520mm stabilises the machine during machining.

The oil-lubricated gearbox with hardened and ground gears provides durable power transmission and smooth spindle operation. The speed range from 95 to 1,600rpm allows suitable parameters to be selected for large-diameter drilling, milling and machining with smaller tools.

Precision Drilling, Milling and Tapping of Metal

The spindle travel of 125mm enables deeper machining operations without frequent adjustment of the table position. The operator can control tool penetration using a three-spoke feed lever and a precision handwheel equipped with a graduated scale. This arrangement is particularly useful when machining holes to a specified depth and performing operations that require accurate tool positioning.

The worktable measuring 730 × 210mm is equipped with 14mm T-slots for securing machine vices, holders, fixtures and workpieces. This allows the metal drilling–milling machine to be easily adapted to various production and workshop tasks.

The standard cooling system with a 40W motor delivers coolant to the cutting zone during extended machining operations.
