Welding fumes are not only an unpleasant smell and a cause of reduced visibility. Above all, they are a mixture of very fine particles and compounds that can quickly deteriorate working conditions in enclosed production halls. The OS3500 was designed to capture fumes and gases where they are generated, before they spread throughout the workstation and the entire hall. This allows the operator to work in a cleaner environment and makes it easier to maintain occupational health and safety standards as well as order at workstations.

High performance in demanding conditions

The key advantage of the OS3500 is the combination of high suction force with high airflow (m³/h). In practice, this means stable and effective extraction of contaminants even during intensive work and when large amounts of fumes are generated (e.g. during continuous welding, joining thicker components or longer weld passes). High performance helps reduce fumes escaping around the working area and improves visibility, which directly contributes to work quality and welder comfort.

Quiet operation – greater workstation comfort

The refined operation of the unit is also important in everyday use. The OS3500 is equipped with a sound-insulated fan chamber, which reduces noise and allows the unit to operate close to the welding workstation. This is particularly important in workshops and production halls where several workstations operate simultaneously and every additional source of noise matters. Quieter operation facilitates communication at the workstation, improves operator concentration and genuinely increases comfort throughout the entire shift.

Automatic filter cleaning – consistent performance

The CORMAK OS3500 is also designed for convenient operation and stable long-term performance. For this reason, an automatic pneumatic filter cleaning system is used. In practice, this means that accumulated contaminants are regularly dislodged from the filter without the need for frequent manual intervention in the unit.

The result is twofold: firstly — the extractor maintains a consistent performance level, and secondly — servicing interruptions and operating costs are reduced. This is particularly important in a production environment, as every unplanned interruption and drop in suction affects the workflow and the quality of conditions at the workstation.

Adjustable extraction power to suit the work

An additional advantage is the adjustment of fume and gas flow at the suction inlet. This solution makes it possible to adapt the extraction force to actual requirements: one setting may be suitable for short spot welds, another for long continuous welding, and another for grinding work. Adjustment at the inlet allows quick configuration to suit the operator without time-consuming changes to the setup.

This makes it easier to maintain a balance between extraction efficiency and working comfort (e.g. with smaller workpieces, where excessively strong suction could make handling the component more difficult).
