IMET H650 Bandsaw

Main features:

• The machine has a wide work surface that provides full support for the material during cutting (even large diameters and full cross-sections). To facilitate loading, there are 2 free rollers in front of the blade (optionally a third), and behind the cutting line the material is supported by a perforated plate.

• The band vice has a hydraulic actuator with a full stroke of 650 mm, which guarantees complete and accurate blocking of the material. All movements take place on rolling bearings.

• The cutting frame is rigid, welded, with a hydraulically lowered arm (the user can adjust the pressure and speed from the mobile console); the cutting arc moves along double linear guides and ball bearings in a closed circuit. Thanks to its rigid construction and ideal blade guidance, the machine maintains a constant feed rate during cutting, reduces vibrations and enables perfect cutting of various materials and diameters.

Other features:

• IMET band saws are characterized by high blade tension, which prevents failures and breaks during operation. The H 650 model is equipped with a microswitch sensor that immediately stops operation in the event of a drop in band tension. The band is guided by metal sliding guides on linear rails with additional bearings.

• All IMET band saws designed for structural steel and profiles have a band inclination (6° in H 650), which optimizes the cutting cycle and feed. The band never cuts parallel to the work table, meaning the machine always cuts only part of the material (even with full bars or tubes), reducing the load on the blade and extending its life.

• The machine has a mechanical material detection system that moves with the cutting arc and allows for quick detection of the first point of contact with the material. This allows the arm to start lowering only when there is no cutting, and when material is detected, the machine switches to the cutting pace set by the operator, optimizing working time.

• The H 650 is equipped with a mobile control panel with colored LEDs for adjusting the band tension, opening the blade guard, motor lock and controlling the power supply.
