Automatic adjustment of backgauge travel (X axis) and R axis (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending larger radii, for example using a step-bending system.

Optional* finger adjustment in the Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1 and X2 axes using servo motors.

To achieve a satisfactory step-bending result, certain calculations are required, which depend on several key parameters associated with the bending process:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the curved section of the bent sheet, measured along the inside of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of individual bends required to obtain a sheet bent to a specified radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the angle of each individual bend and, consequently, the smoother the arc;
- Distance between bends – the distance between individual bends made during the process.
Although the entire step-bending process may appear quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are sufficiently advanced to handle many aspects of the process automatically for the operator.
Automatic crowning compensation
Ensures the same bending angle along the entire bending length - (option*)
Manual crowning compensation (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Included as standard exclusively in our offer, a high-grade laser safety system that protects the operator and more than doubles the speed of the bending process.

IRIS Plus laser system (option*)
The IRIS Plus laser system is an advanced solution for press brakes, providing precise and safe positioning of tools and material. It enables real-time measurement and correction of the bending angle, significantly increasing process accuracy and efficiency.

We do not compromise on safety! High-grade hydraulic connections and safety valves.

Beware of inadequate safety solutions such as gates or light curtains, as these do not comply with CE standards and may put employees' health at risk. As an employer, you are responsible for the health of your employees!
CE-compliant safety guards

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a movable arm
- LED lighting: increases operating comfort and safety
- Supports on linear guides
- Follower supports (option*)
Servo-driven follower supports enable the bending of larger sheets by lifting the sheet at an angle as the bend is formed, helping to prevent deformation of the bent arc and maintain the specified angle.
We care about the safety of our customers and their teams, which is why our press brakes are equipped with a range of advanced safety features. These include clear markings, side guards, a rear safety gate and easily accessible emergency stop switches.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
The fact that a machine has a CE declaration does not mean that it is safe. The systems with which it is equipped are important!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Included as standard, the system ensures stable machine operating parameters even during long periods of continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Segmented four-sided multi-V dies and segmented punches as standard
- The standard system used on CORMAK press brakes is a manual AMADA-type (European) system, enabling fast tool changes
- Punches are inserted from the side of the machine and secured with screws
Selection of die and punch
For the final bending result, correct selection of press brake tooling, i.e. the die and punch, is also important.
CORMAK press brakes continuously take bending measurements and can, for example, correct deviations during the process to achieve the best possible result.

Depending on the press force, segmented punches and dies may vary in length.
