DSP laser safety system
- DSP laser safety system, front supports on linear guides, quick tool clamps, oil cooling system and sectional upper and lower tools
Automatic adjustment of the back gauge (X axis) and R axis (manual option*). The R axis facilitates bending with larger radii, e.g. using a step bending system.

Optional adjustment of backgauge fingers on axes Z1, Z2, R1, R2, X1, X2 with servomotors.

To achieve satisfactory results in step bending, certain calculations are necessary, requiring knowledge of several key parameters related to the bending process — these include:
- Arc length – the distance between the ends of the bent sheet curve measured along the inner side of the bend;
- Number of bends – the number of single bends that must be performed to obtain a bent sheet with a specific radius; the greater the number of bends, the smaller the individual bending angle, resulting in a smoother curve;
- Distance between bends – the spacing between individual bends made during the process.
Although the step bending process may seem quite complex, CORMAK machines and software are so advanced that they take over many of these calculations and adjustments from the operator.
Automatic deflection crowning compensation

Manual deflection crowning compensation (option*)

Safety
Laser safety system
Top-class DSP laser safety system protecting the operator and doubling the bending process efficiency.

We do not compromise on safety! Highest-quality hydraulic connections and safety valves.

Safety guards compliant with CE

Ergonomics and Additional Features:
- Mobile controller on a swing arm
- LED lighting: enhances comfort and safety at work
- Front supports on linear guides
- Servo-driven following supports (option*)
Servo-driven following supports enable bending of larger sheet metal parts by lifting the workpiece during bending, maintaining the desired angle and preventing deformation.
We care about the safety of our customers and their teams – our press brakes are equipped with a number of advanced safety systems including clear markings, side guards, rear safety gates, and easily accessible emergency stop buttons.
Each machine is supplied with a clear and detailed user manual.
A CE declaration alone does not guarantee safety – what matters are the actual systems used in the machine!

SCO – Oil Cooling System
Standard equipment includes an oil cooling system ensuring stable machine parameters even during long, continuous operation.
Punch and die clamping:
- Standard equipment includes sectional, four-sided multi-groove dies and sectional punches.
- The standard system used in CORMAK press brakes is the manual AMADA (European) type for quick tool changes.
- Punches are mounted from the side of the machine and locked with screws.
Selection of dies and punches
The proper selection of punch and die is also important for the final bending result.
CORMAK press brakes continuously measure bending parameters and can automatically correct deviations during the process to achieve the optimal result.

Depending on the press force, sectional punches and dies may vary in length.

Training and Machine Commissioning
