CORMAK BA200 automatic electric strapping machine for PP strapping

The CORMAK BA200 is an automatic frame-type strapping machine designed for securing cartons, parcels and bulk packaging with polypropylene (PP) strapping. The automatic strapping cycle speeds up the preparation of consignments and ensures consistent protection of each product.

Once the cycle is started, the strap is guided through the frame around the product being packed, tensioned to the set force, heat-sealed and cut. The seal is made from the underside of the item being packed, ensuring that the top surface of the cardboard box or parcel remains neat and easily accessible.

Adjustable strap tension within the range of 0–70 kg allows the tightening force to be adapted to the type and strength of the packaging. Automatic strapping and heat-sealing

Once the product has been positioned within the frame, the operator starts the cycle using a foot control or a button on the control panel. The PP strap is automatically guided around the product and then tensioned to the set value.

The ends of the strap are joined at the bottom of the packaged item using thermal sealing. Once the join is made, the machine cuts the strap and prepares it for the next cycle. The process does not require the use of any additional metal or plastic clips.

Strap tension adjustment

The adjustment range from 0 to 70 kg allows the tension force to be tailored to the type of product being packed. Lower tension is suitable for light and more delicate cartons, whilst higher tension enables more secure fastening of heavier parcels and bulk packaging.

A correctly selected tension value reduces the risk of packaging deformation and improves the repeatability of the strapping process.

Rollers to aid product positioning

The rollers fitted to the worktop make it easier to move and position cartons, parcels and other items to be strapped. They also make it easier to reposition the product when multiple straps are required.
