Machine features

The CORMAK BS128HDRC metal bandsaw, designed for professional craftsmen, offers optimal cutting range, performance, and ease of use. The arm swivels in both directions, which is a major advantage when cutting materials at angles. Despite its compact size, the machine’s high weight (90kg) ensures excellent stability and minimises vibrations during cutting – unlike lighter machines. The material can be fed manually or by any feeding device. The feed during cutting operates by gravity, based on the oil flow within a dual-chamber hydraulic cylinder. The desired arm lowering speed is achieved by adjusting the valve that regulates the oil flow between the chambers. Cutting accuracy is ensured by a set of bearing guides. The machine is equipped as standard with an automatic limit switch and an ON/OFF switch compliant with IP54. The saw frame swivels for double mitre cutting within the range from -45° to +60°.
