The universal lathe CORMAK 330 x 700 230V is a precise conventional metal lathe designed for machining steel, non-ferrous metals and engineering plastics. Supplied with a heavy-duty stand and a 7-piece 16×16 mm insert tool set, it forms a complete workstation ready for immediate operation. The reliable 1.1 kW / 230 V induction motor, 12-speed gearbox and 160 mm-wide bed ensure constant torque, high stability and repeatable accuracy across hundreds of components.

Design and technology

The high-density cast-iron body effectively absorbs vibration, while precision class P5 angular-contact spindle bearings ensure run-out ≤ 0.015 mm. The ergonomic control panel allows quick spindle-speed and feed selection, and hardened gearbox gears ensure quiet operation and long service life. The supplied steel stand with tool cabinet eliminates the need for a separate workstation.

Precision and performance

Automatic longitudinal feeds (0.105 – 1.396 mm/rev) and cross feeds (0.022 – 0.296 mm/rev) speed up cutting processes without compromising surface finish. Vernier dials 0.1/0.5 mm allow settings to tenths of a millimetre, and the wide spindle-speed range enables both high-speed finishing and rough turning of tool steels.
