CORMAK Band saw machine IMET KS 450

KS series saws are the only machines in their class that can cut both left and right, with a single setting and locking of the vice. The user can set the cutting angle and rotate the arc without having to move the rod. The vice slides laterally on the work table, allowing quick setting.

Wide work table providing full support for the material. The machines are very easy to use thanks to automatic stops from 0° to 45° left/right and a scale on the work table, which allows the cutting position to be optimized at any angle. IMET band saws detect the degree of cutting relative to the center.

The rigid saw frame made of electro-welded tubular steel ensures high stability during cutting. The KS model has a high saw band tension (2000 kg/cm²) and a 6° band inclination, which improves material feeding and reduces load.

The machine is equipped with loading and unloading elements, enabling the use of support rollers and a removable waste container.

The mechanical material detection device ensures rapid blade approach to the material, automatically detecting the first cut point, while the end point of the cut is controlled by a microswitch on the movable blade guide.

The control panel allows control of all machine settings and parameters. The KS model has an independent control panel with LEDs informing about the tape tension, blade guard, motor overheating and checking the electrical voltage.

The control panel also allows you to set the machine's operating parameters, such as the blade speed, lowering rate and management of the final phase of the process (possible in 3 variants):

1. Raising the arc with the blade stopped,

2. Raising the arc with the blade moving,

3. Ending the cycle without raising the arc.
